Volunteering is a good opportunity to influence and participate, and to increase cohesion and well-being in one’s own life and in the surrounding community. In this inspiring event, you can get to know the volunteering possibilities in Vaasa and Ostrobothnia and find your own place in the field of volunteering. During the evening, you can hear stories about volunteering experiences and network with associations and others interested in volunteering.

The Vaasan seudun Valikkoryhmä, or more commonly known as Verkkarit, is a voluntary activity group operating in the Ostrobothnia region. The group belongs to the Valikkoverkosto in Kansalaisareena – Citizen Forum, and supports and strengthens our regions voluntary activities, volunteers and volunteer activity coordinators. The focus is on peer support, networking and cooperation. An important goal is to increase the visibility and appreciation of volunteering and to highlight the effects of volunteering.
